… the first in a series of some of my favorite neighborhoods.
Let’s begin with Brookfield Country Club … I’ve been selling homes there since 1996!
Just a few years ago this popular Roswell community changed its name from Brookfield West to better reflect its prized amenity … a wonderful lifestyle that centers around a Mike Riley-designed golf course, ten tennis courts, and a 25 meter pool. The clubhouse was recently featured (anonymously, of course) in a television reality series about Atlanta.
For residents who don’t belong to the club, there is still plenty to do, and they get to reap the benefits of living in this beautiful neighborhood of nearly 1000 homes.
Nearby are excellent public and private schools, and that fact alone is a magnet for buyers. Historic Roswell has many quaint specialty shops, antique malls and galleries, all intermingled with top notch restaurants. It’s the perfect place to bring out of town visitors … you don’t have to drive anywhere else!
Currently inventory is unusually low in Brookfield Country Club. Today there are only thirteen homes for sale in our Multiple Listing Service, and three of those are working on offers. There is a wide range of prices … from $265,000 up to $1,269,000 and everything in between. These homes were built in the year 1970 and all the way up to 2006. The MLS shows that 39 homes sold and closed in the past twelve months.
We are constantly promoting this incredible neighborhood and the area homes. We sold eleven homes in Brookfield last year and many people remark that we have become “the” neighborhood experts. Other real estate professionals call to ask us, “What’s happening in Brookfield? Do you know of any new homes coming on the market there?”
